March Features -

Looks like March is coming in like a lamb... oh-oh! I'm thankful for a little warmer weather, but what will we be in for?

The last couple of days have been really beautiful. The sun is bright and warm...

I'm sure you've noticed that there's some spring cleaning going on here! Yep, I'm cleaning up and rearranging. And you know, you can never tackle a big cleaning project without making a little bit of a mess now can you? I'm busy at work fixing links and adding more goodies for you. Keep checking back!

The most used parts of this site are the A-Z food listings, the vitamin & nutrient listings and the healing. You'll find those conveniently located in "The Lists" I hope that makes things easier!

And the recipes of course!

I picked some really good 5 star recipes to help break-up the boredom! I think you're gonna love them. We're talking food that you would find at a really good restaurant. And they're so easy to make! Try at least one new dish this week ;-)

And yes, Here is the Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner Recipe >>>

I made the most wonderful split pea soup yesterday. I ate 4 bowls the first day. I kid you not. Head over to crock-pot gormet to find the recipe.

Do You Need Drugs or Nutrition?

It appears to me that the current trend of research will uncover a nutritional deficiency cause for every disease known to man. At this point they’re already thinking that 92% of Americans have a nutritional deficiency of some sort. There are now nutritional deficiencies linked to M.S., Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, macular degeneration, heart attacks, stroke, clogged arteries, cancers, type 2 diabetes, depression, osteoporosis, arthritis, asthma, migraines, PMS, and sexual dysfunction.

Are your goals a distant memory?

You did say that you were going to start eating healthier, and lose weight this year - right?

I want you to open up your fast start guide and make sure you are on the right track. If not, make some adjustments and get back on track! Have you had your family meeting and picked your favorite foods? It makes things a lot easier when you have a list of everything everyone likes.

Did you check out the simple exercises videos? I plan on adding a couple more this week for you. You may not believe that such simple exercises will make any difference in the way you feel. Just do them a couple times a day and see for yourself!

Now that should start getting you a little more motivated. I know, motivation is really hard to come by this time of year. But when you make yourself take little bitty steps, and you see some results - you'll be amazed at how your motivation picks up.

Start thinking spring. Are you going to have the energy to get out and play? You will if you start taking these simple steps now. And you'll look great too.

Hey, instead of sitting in front of the TV for another hour or 2, how about tackling some of your spring cleaning? It's another simple way to get your body moving, and then when the warm weather hits - you won't feel chained to the house! And having a clean house always lifts your mood, doesn't it? An if you need more help in that area - i also wrote the book on simple house cleaning. Figures, right? ;-)

If you've read the blog, you know that I'm suggesting that for Lent this year - we give up GMOs and packaged foods. OK, I suggest that anyway, but what better statement can we make this Lenten season than to not buy their toxic products for 6 weeks? Do you think we could have an impact on the world? And think how much healthier you'll be by the end of it. I added more dressing recipes, barbecue sauce recipes, and recipes for making your own mayonnaise to help you avoid GMOs.

The feed from Healthier Talk is finally working so you can get the latest talk on health and nutrition findings from around the Internet.

The FDA recalls feed is working too so you can get up to the minute recall information.

And remember, we're mobile friendly! You can access the site from your cell phone (if you have Internet access.) You can get a great dinner idea, or access the recipes while you're in the grocery store. How handy is that?
