Simple keys to being thin and healthy for life
There’s always another ad for a miracle product that will make you thin with no effort. After a decade of these wonder products, there is no decrease in obesity and illnesses are sky-rocketing.
Then you have the opposite extreme – vegan, raw foods, and other icky sounding stuff.
The amazing truth is that once you learn simple secrets to eating healthy, you can enjoy eating again and not worry about your weight and cut your risk of disease.
Here’s a few simple rules. Make them your way of life.
Eat your 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables everyday.
Even if you change nothing else, this one tip will help you lose some weight and feel better.
Do not eat packaged foods.
Everything packaged, processed, instant, microwaveable, all have to contain chemicals to increase shelf life. If they do have any nutrient value, it’s been added. Lab created food doesn’t naturally contain vitamins, does it?
Do not drink pop.
Pop again is full of chemicals, and has the added benefits of corn syrup or artificial sweeteners – and either one is bad.
I know, you think you can’t live without these staples in your life. Once your tastebuds recover, you won’t like the taste anymore. Your body was never meant to ingest these fake ‘foods’ in the first place. Is it any wonder that obesity and disease has skyrocketed?
Save time & money by shopping only the outer perimeter of the store.
You’ll be amazed at how quickly you can get in and out of the grocery store when you no longer have to go up and down all the aisles! You’ll also find that you’re spending less money.
Eat all day.
That has always been the secret of thin people. It seems like they’re always eating, doesn’t it? They are. That’s what keeps them thin. Their bodies are trained to burn the food as they eat it. It’s not stored as fat.
Now, what will you do with all the money you’ll save on diet products, prescription drugs, and medical care?
Couldn’t agree more Carole!
I, like you, tend to be on the slim side. I’ve tried many, many times to gain a little weight. However, I don’t wish to compromise my health in doing this.
I invested in your wonderful range of Ebooks which have given me even more food for thought. Our mealtimes are more imaginative, and healthy meals are even easier and simpler to prepare.
High Energy Eating introduced me to the health benefits of almonds, and now I rely on these for a quick boost, instead of the empty-calorie mug of coffee and a cookie, which was my previous mid-morning fix.
You’ve opened my eyes to the health benefits of many everyday foods, and I recommend your advice to everyone.
Thanks again,
Thanks Fiona!
We’re trying to decide what good stuff we want to eat this weekend. So many good choices! People don’t realize what they’re missing
