Monopolization of America
Most of the food industries have become monopolized. That means that most of the food you eat is controlled by large corporations whose only interest is in profits.
Thinking about it, that has been true of many industries in this country – and look at the results -
People are fatter, sicker, out of work or unable to make a living wage, government is handing out money not even our great-grandchildren will be able to repay, the environment worsens by the day, and life will only continue to get worse if something isn’t done to stop the monopolization of America.
I know the political posts have not been that popular here. I wish I could report that everything is a bed of roses. But we need for you to step up and say something. If enough of us are talking about it, and adding our voice, we can change things.
Monsanto lost its GMO Alpha Sprouts case last week. That would not have happened if people were not paying attention.
Its critical that we all pay attention.
I just signed a letter to the Department of Justice and USDA today telling them to hold corporations accountable by enforcing antitrust laws as they relate to the food and agricultural sectors. This is an unprecedented opportunity. Will you please join me? Farmers need us to stand with them today for a just and sustainable future for us all.
Thank you!
