Walgreens employees are being pushed, prodded, and incentivized to push vaccines.

Most retail stores push credit cards..

Seems people aren’t as willing to rush in and be human test subjects anymore. Vaccine selling is a hard job. People aren’t quite as gullible as they used to be.

But employees who are up for the challenge can win an iPad.

There’s a continual flow between government positions and Monsanto. Another one happened just recently.

Circuit Court Judge Patrick J. Fiedler Dane County (Wisconsin) Circuit Court Judge Patrick J. Fiedler’s ruled against the property rights of cow owners and their right to consume raw milk from their own cows earlier this year.

He now works for a prestigious law firm that defends Monsanto.

Rewards for a job well done?

I am eating the most delicious salad. I had the foresight to make some shredded chicken last night, and hardboiled eggs. Mix that with lettuce, homegrown tomatoes, onions, and some broccoli an you’ve got quite a feast.

Since we’ve gone to over 60 hours a week, all I really eat for dinner is salad. If it weren’t for all the wonderful things you can do with salad, I don’t know how I would survive.

Then I top it off with some juice and my vitamins – the other key to my survival. OK, that and coffee and chocolate

But the fish oil that I found that doesn’t upset my stomach and actually makes me feel good will probably be illegal if the FDA has their way. and the CoQ10, and the Calcium, magnesium and Vitamin D.

The FDA will not stop in their fight to get rid of supplements.

Their latest action is to require an approval process for any new formulations made since the law protecting our supplements was passed.

Tell them why you’re upset over the NDI guidance, and ask them to hold hearings on the FDA’s position. The FDA is clearly overreaching its authority, and the logic of its arguments is beyond absurd. Congress has FDA oversight and needs to review the agency’s actions in creating this new guidance.

You can use the same phone number to be connected to the office of each of your two Senators. Here is a Citizen’s Petition you can read to the health staff member you speak with:

“The FDA has proposed guidelines that place burdensome new restrictions on dietary supplements introduced after October 15, 1994. That means that nutrients that I have been safely using over the course of three decades will be subject to the FDA’s oppressive policies that mandate costly animal testing. This translates into forced withdrawal from the market of many of my dietary supplements and higher prices for me if the supplement is allowed to be sold again. I ask that you call the FDA Office of Nutrition, Labeling and Dietary Supplements at 1-888-723-3366 and demand that they withdraw the proposed guidelines they issued in July 2011 and work with the Alliance for Natural Health to formulate safety guidelines that make sense for the consumer and the economy.”

“I am petitioning the FDA regarding your draft guidance on New Dietary Ingredient notifications for dietary supplements known as Draft Guidance for Industry: Dietary Supplements: New Dietary Ingredient Notifications and Related Issues.

I demand that you immediately disregard all the proposals you outlined and instead consider a rational and scientific approach to regulating new dietary ingredients that will be submitted to you by the Alliance for Natural Health within the next 90 days.

Your proposed guidelines on New Dietary Ingredients will cause the price of my supplements to skyrocket, and some of these life-sustaining supplements are likely to disappear altogether.

This is not acceptable especially when there are no significant reports of adverse reactions to the supplements the FDA may ban.

In as much as your threat to ban my access to new dietary ingredients is causing me great anxiety which is injurious to my health, I insist that you immediately put your proposed new guidance on hold for a 90-day period so that the Alliance for Natural Health can submit comments to ensure a system that protects me against unsafe ingredients without destroying my access to low-cost effective nutrients.”

Why We Can Prevail … For those who don’t recall, the federal government came very close to transforming high-potency supplements into prescription drugs in the 1970s. The medical establishment lobbied so hard that it was a foregone conclusion that Congress would change the law and force Americans to obtain prescriptions for many of their supplements. No one expected the consumer backlash that overwhelmed Congress into submission. Vitamin users inundated Congress with so many protests that the Proxmire Vitamin Bill was enacted in 1976. This bill prohibited the FDA from turning dietary supplements into “drugs” as the American Medical Association was urging. Annual vitamin sales were less than $2 billion in the 1970s, yet Congress received more mail from angry vitamin supplement users than any other issue except the Vietnam War. You think it would never happen here – but it does.

Again, Big industry is enlisting the help of Congress to try to take that away from us. The Leafy Green Agreement (what a joke that is…) is open for public comment. If you care, you need to speak up.

I just took action, telling Secretary Vilsack and the USDA to stop letting Big Ag write rules that harm family farmers that grow our local and organic food. It’s time that the Obama administration stood up for family farmers and the growing local food movement.

Today the USDA and Big Ag are conspiring to implement a set of rules that favor giant industrial growers while placing small, diversified farms at risk. Known as the National Leafy Green Marketing Agreement, this set of rules was designed by industrial growers to protect their market share while harming their main competition, the growing local and organic food movement. The Leafy Green agreement, drafted by the largest vegetable growers’ lobbyists in an effort to whitewash their growing food safety problems, would implement draconian practices that saddle farmers with one-size-fits-all rules and would drive local and organic farmers out of business with expensive regulations.

Tell Secretary Vilsack that it’s time to protect family farmers and stop letting Big Ag write the rules.

I’m so pissed. I’m a victim of deceptive juice labeling.

Here’s what happened

I’v been reading a lot about studies involving pomegranate. The problem is, I don’t care much for the taste of pomegranate.

My daughter tells me to try the Orchard Blueberry Pomegranate. She says it tastes good.

So, I see on the front label that it has no added sugar and I buy it.

I just had a glass. Funny, I can’t taste the pomegranate at all.

That’s because there’s barely any in there@!

It’s mostly apple juice and water. And its pasturized – which means that its been heated to a point where its not only killed off the germs, but the nutrients too.

Its like the blueberry cereal that doesn’t have any blueberries in it.

I really have to get better about reading the labels BEFORE I buy something.

For far too long Monsanto has been able to control important market access for family farmers. Today their power has grown too great, they own more than 90% of the GMO seed genetics in the world and this is having a harmful impact on farmer’s right to choose what type of seeds they want to plant and how American consumers want their food produced. Monsanto’s excessive market share harms farmers, the environment, innovation and our democracy. It’s time to Break Up Monsanto!

Last year the Department of Justice and U.S. Department of Agriculture held a series of 5 workshops investigating anti-competitive practices in the food and agricultural sectors. Nowhere are these abuses more prevalent than in the extreme market share enjoyed by the seed and chemical company Monsanto, which has a virtual stranglehold on seed supplies in crucial sectors that has severely limited farmer’s choice in what traits they can buy. Monsanto’s control of the seed market is so high that 93% of soybeans, some 82% of corn, 93% of cotton and 95% of sugar beets grown in the U.S. contain Monsanto’s patented genes.

During the 2008 campaign, President Obama promised to deal with the worst monopoly abusers in agriculture. Well now is the time!
